About Me
I currently live in Carmel, Indiana, just north of Indianapolis, and have lived in the area since April of 2016. My original career plan and passion fresh out of high school was to work with youth in a church setting. For my bachelor's degree I studied psychology, education, and theology. As I was nearing the completion of my degree, I came to the realization that the church setting was no longer where I felt I could work. Unsure of what to pursue for my career, I graduated but picked up a job at FedEx and have been there for the last 6 years. My desire to work with youth has never wavered, but I felt at a loss as to the setting. My wife Rachel (pictured) is the best thing to have ever happened to me and, with her patience and wisdom, helped me see how a career as a librarian would be perfect for me. I am currently working on completing my Masters in Library Science and will be graduating in December of 2020.

About My Dog
This is my snuggle bud, homework companion, and 7lb ball of fluff, Brownie! He is a miniature, long-haired dachshund who is almost 7 years old and I rescued/adopted him when he was about 9 months old. He loves yapping at squirrels, taking walks around the neighborhood, and giving smelly kisses to anyone who gets close to his face. He thinks reading is the best because he gets a warm lap to cuddle on for hours at a time.
